New Logo!

Hello, readers!

I just wanted to share a couple of things!

First, my new logo!!  I love it!

Second, my website has finally been updated!  Woot, woot!  Check it out here:  www.angelarichardsonphotography.com

Also, I would appreciate ‘likers’ on my new Facebook page!  Take a look here!

Lastly, I’m sure you may notice a few changes regarding prices and package options on the website!  I really had to take a step back, evaluate, re-evaluate, and evaluate once again, what would help me stay competitive, and still reasonably priced.  I am very pleased with the changes I have made, and sought counsel from fellow photographers and clients as well.

I’m looking forward to a great year!  Thanks for being faithful readers/fans as this business begins to grow!

You are appreciated!!

Merry Christmas!

Another lovely Christmas season is upon us.  As 2011 comes to a close, and 2012 enters in, I hope you take time to reflect, to cherish, and to enjoy what has passed, and what will come.

The website is currently closed for renovations, but will open again in January, complete with a new logo and updated information.  I’m thrilled to unveil the logo that is being created!

I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Genuine.

Meet the adorable ‘B’ family!  I’ve known Mrs. B since she was a Miss, and I was so flattered to be chosen to photograph her wonderful family!  Little L is such a doll!

The B family is kind, generous, down to earth, and genuine.  I enjoyed our time together, and am blessed to know them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the opportunity to work with you!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

The following picture is one of my absolute favorites.

There is something about fathers and daughters, being real, and having fun, that warms my heart.

The sun was quickly setting, and Little L was feeling fussy, so Mr. B scooped her up and began spinning her around, trying to get her to laugh.  It worked.

This picture defines the word genuine, and represents the style of my photography that I want to convey:  perfectly imperfect.  A moment in time, happiness, and love.

Wonderful.

I’m excited to share with you some of the images from my session with the gorgeous ‘B’ family!  We went to a local park, and the sky was overcast.  We were a bit worried about the weather forecast, but it ended up being perfect!  We even had a few glimpses of ‘fall’ foliage in the background!

Aren’t these girls precious?  They were so fun to work with!

This family is so kind, and they love each other so much.  It was truly a pleasure to photograph them.

Seriously, when I look at these images, all I can think is:  WONDERFUL!  Because this family is!

A, R, Big H, and Lil’ H, you guys are wonderful.  Thank you!

Peek!

A glimpse of things to come!  My latest session with the beautiful B family!

One quick peek!

More after the Holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Time Flies.

I had the honor of photographing this lovely family for the third year in a row!  My, how the children have grown!  They are old pros at the photo session scene now!  As always, they were a pleasure to work with.

Fun, vibrant, kind, and relaxed.

This family rocks my socks!  And, I cannot help but think about how time flies by so quickly

Thank you, again and again!

This little guy is the big ’5′!  When I first photographed him, he was just shy of 2!  Happy Birthday, J!

And, for fun, the Lil’ Miss did her ‘Peace, Love, and Happiness’ poses!

Coronado.

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to work with the awesome D family.  They wanted a coastal setting, but not beachy, and the location that popped into my head was Coronado Island.  I LOVE it there, and it ended up being a perfect day, with perfect weather.  The D’s were so fun to spend time with!

The kids loved to pose for the camera, and really hammed it up!

I couldn’t have asked for a better day, with better people!  It was a pleasure, D family!

Holiday Specials!

Bubbly and Bright.

Little Miss N. is a doll.  She is full of personality and spunk.

She has been visiting with her sweet Grandparents, and they wanted to have some photographs taken before she left.

Rather camera shy at first, I opted for my telephoto lens, and took pictures from afar until she felt comfortable enough to have me follow her around.  And, once ready for the camera, we had a great time.  She showed me her treehouse, the chickens, and the pond.  She played ‘drums’ and cared for her baby doll, and laughed and talked.  She is bubbly and bright, and lots of fun

It was a pleasure to meet you, N!  I hope to see you again soon!

This next image is my FAVORITE.  I shot it through the chicken wire.

A Day At The Park.

These 4 kiddos are the most darling, imaginative, fun-loving, and joyful children I have ever met.

They are full of wonder and sheer enthusiasm for the world around them.

For P, A, M, and N, this wasn’t a “Photo Session.”  This was simply a day at the park!

Enjoy!

I’m currently obsessed with the rich tones of black and white images.  They are utterly timeless.

P.S.  The image of Miss A laying on the tree truck was completely her idea.  I was chasing around little M, snapping pictures of him, when A called to me, and proudly showed me the pose she invented.

It is one of my absolute favorites!
